RECORDING HIGHLIGHTS:

Under the new Early Retiree Reinsurance Program (ERRP) program in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, employers can take advantage of new subsidies designed to keep employer early retiree health benefit programs going. Most experts agree that the timeframe is short for submitting your application as the HHS will limit the number of applications before summer’s end, so it is imperative that you act now before it is too late.

This interactive webinar will help you take advantage of this program to provide reimbursement for costs of retired employee insurance claims that meet certain eligibility criteria. You also take away tips and checklists that will give you an edge over other applicants.

Learning Points:

  • The eligibility criteria and related issues
  • The application process and deadlines
  • The reimbursement formula and related reimbursement issues
  • The rules concerning a change of ownership
  • As an added bonus, you’ll receive a checklist to assist you in taking advantage of the ERRP program
